Traditional type of restaurant, very cozy and cute. We have tried several dishes from the menu and everything was delicious! The only downside it’s the desert, not really good. The staff were nice and friendly and the atmosphere was great too!

The staff were very kind to fit me last minute in by myself at the bar. This gave me the opportunity to watch the kitchen staff work their magic and observe how professional and well run this restaurant is, while simultaneously maintaining a very cozy, intimate, and laid-back environment. The food was amazing, to the point that I was ready to lick the plate clean. The smaller portion sizes have nothing to do with the amount of flavour and thought put into each dish, and I am so glad that the menu is built for you to try several different dishes. I could wax on and on about the quality and the experience, but you almost have to go yourself to see for yourself. If the food wasn’t amazing enough, the nice bartender also made up a gin drink on the spot for me that suited what I ordered and was very attentive. I can’t wait to be able to visit Reykjavik just to be able to eat here again. New favourite restaurant! It was that amazing.

Gorgeous food - flavourful and beautifully presented, really lovely staff and chefs who clearly are passionate about their creations. Loved the five course tasting menu

The other reviews are right about the stools - supremely uncomfortable! I’m 5’ 4” and literally had pins and needles in legs from not being able to reach the floor, the wooden seats are also soooo uncomfortable. I saw four high tables being moved to the lower tables during one hour. Management - please make all the tables low or get better stools, and then you’ll be 10/10!

The food was just incredible. We had arctic char and the taste of all the ingredients was absolutely delicious.
The restaurant is not big, so I would recommend to reserve a table.
Prices are not cheap but very much aligned with Iceland prices.
I definitely recommend this place.

This was our favorite meal in Reykjavík, and maybe one of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant is warm and cozy, service is excellent. The wine list is really thorough and well thought out. The food…incredible! The Cod Wings and Lamb are must-try dishes, and the salad was super fresh!
