It is an interesting sculpture by the sea side. If you google it, you'll see that the sculpture is described as a dreamboat and is an ode to the sun.

The location of the sculpture is perfect. Right next to Atlantic Ocean, the view is stunning. Take a walk by the ocean and capture the sculpture to make awesome memories with your family and friends.

It's also 10 minutes walk to Hallgrimskirkja church and rainbow street. Overall, an afternoon well spent.

Sun Voyager is a beautiful sculpture next to the ocean in Reykjavik, you should not miss it if you scroll around the area. Be aware can get very cold even when sunny. Recommend it!

It's a beautiful steel sculpture of a boat overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the breath taking views of the sea as we walked from Harpa to Sun Voyager.

I came here in the morning and enjoyed looking at the Voyager.  It is a place that stirs the imagination and makes real the collective memories of ancient journeys.

I returned after dark to look at the light from John and Yoko’s “Imagine Peace.” A faint aurora added to the experience.

Loved seeing this in person! Right on the harbor walk path and easily accessible from town. Can get breezy right on the water (we were here in Dec/Jan)! Sidewalk was mostly plowed while we were there but was alternating slushy and slick in places, so good boots + yaktracks if you’re nervous are advised :)
