This boutique hotel is stylish, intimate, professional whilst being friendly.
The reception area is exquisite and the Christmas decorations are beautiful.
Our bedroom was gorgeous, wonderfully large bed, fluffy bedding, pillows and towels. Loved that you can control the heating in your room and open windows.
The shower is powerful and great range of temperature.

The staff are so helpful and friendly.
Breakfast is amazing, with so many options for such a small boutique hotel.

We were here on honeymoon and had the most wonderful treats and written message on our arrival to our room. One of which will go in our memory box.

We were also treated to use of the spa.

Wonderful touches that made our honeymoon beyond perfect.

If you are coming to this beautiful country, this hotel does not disappoint. x

Lovely little hotel in a central location, perfect for a base as it's close to bars and restaurants, bus stop number 3 and the BSI bus terminal.
Most of the stay was spent out of the hotel due to excursions, but found the staff really friendly and attentive.
Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of hot and cold options - ideal to fuel yourself up for a long day out and about.
As for the room, we were allocated room 216 at the end of the corridor away from the lifts. It was quite small, but very modern.
Some other reviews mention noise from nightclubs/bars but we never heard a thing, other than guests arriving back at their rooms and talking in the corridor.
Would definitely stay here again!

Really nice hotel all in all, Perfect location in the centre of Reykjavik. The front of house team were always welcoming, friendly and happy to help.

Breakfast was always, great porridge, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, hot and cold drinks. Would have been nice to get hot chocolate Included for those of use who don't drink coffee or tea.

The room was lovely, modern, clean and the bathroom was great. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the bed and the bedding, I personally struggle to sleep on a firm bed. and duck feather pillows although probably considered luxury, for me I'm not a fan. Also the bed was two singles pushed together and the duvet was two duvets turned sideways so as a couple it was annoying falling between mattresses / duvet not long enough / basically sleeping separately on a couples holiday.

Honestly other than the bed everything else was perfect. The bed was the only thing I could fault. I'm not one to complain or kick up a fuss to ask for a different room so we just put up with it.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city.

The breakfast was basic, with a lot of the food not tasting great or quite bland. Although there is a good selection for vegans.

Room: provided iron and hairdryer. Shower gel and vanity kit included. Shower strength not great. Signal on TV was poor.

When checking in we were not told that the spa was extra. The spa is additional cost to staying here which was not clear when booking through hotels.com. The receptionist stated that because it did not say it was free we should of assumed that we pay extra. Other hotels we have stayed at it would state in brackets (additional cost). Not clear at all and frustrating as this was one of the reasons we paid extra to stay at this hotel compared to others in the area.

Service: Amazing Hospitality demonstrated by staff from all departments reception, housekeeping, F&B. The check in procedure was quick, they made us feel welcomed and were friendly and helpful. Service was prompt. Kudos to the team!
Location: prime location indeed with the Hallgrimskirkja church, Rainbow street, eateries and other tourist attractions at a walkable distance (the European walkable distance 🙂)
Breakfast: Buffet breakfast was good with decent options. The star was the delicious bakery items.
Room: we had a triple occupancy room with an extra bed for our kid. The room was neat & tidy and the best part was to be able to see the Hallgrimskirkja church from the window. But the only uncomfortable part was the bathroom faucets , it was not the usual modern ones so it was difficult to operate, it took special technique to get the warm water flowing and by the time we got our confidence operating them, it was time for check out :). Plus the frosted glass panel wall of the bathroom made our kid a little uncomfortable. Rest everything was great. I recommend it!
