I can't say enough good things about this incredible hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and hospitality. The service was simply outstanding—every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was flawless.

The food was a true highlight. Every bite was unforgettable. Easily one of the best dining experiences we've had during our time in Iceland.

To top it all off, we were thrilled to find out that our room had been upgraded. The upgraded accommodations were luxurious and thoughtfully designed, with breathtaking views of Iceland's stunning landscapes. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring.

This hotel has truly set the standard for excellence on our trip. It's not just a place to stay—it's a destination in itself. If you're traveling to Iceland, this is one of the places to visit if you're going to the black church! 10/10—Highly recommend!

The lobby, the living rooms and any public space in this hotel were very cosy. Our room as well. The landscape is stunning. Great service. In our 20 days trip this was the best breakfast we had and it’s easy to explain why : it’s one of the very few that served fresh made scrambled eggs with cream and real butter. We didn’t ask for more !
One thing to be aware of : the isolation of the room may be an issue if your are sensitive. Overall we loved our stay there 👍🏼

Had lunch at this hotel. They only have 4 items on the menu, but I say they are well executed.

The soup is not too bland. I love the touch of the sour taste to it. The beef burger is juicy and tender. The onion is not too overpowering the taste of the combination.

Unfortunately, they only have one proper dining table. We had to eat our lunch at the lounge table.

The location of this hotel is incredible - we had an unbelievable view from our room. Dinner was also expensive but possibly our best from two weeks in Iceland. The cod was perfect! The only downside was the room itself. For what it cost, it was very basic.
