The stay was quite enjoyable, with a strong castle theme that’s apparent throughout the hotel. The aesthetics were cool, and everything was clean.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a room with two single beds, but the beds were positioned just an inch apart to make space for an additional round table. Recommend the hotel to skip the extra table and provide a bit more space between the beds.

Breakfast was nice, and there are dinner options available in both the bar and restaurant. I’d recommend making a reservation, as it gets quite busy.

Just a short overnight stay, but the room was well presented, spacious, clean and tidy and it was a pleasant surprise to get an upgrade on check in.

Food in the bar was good, with plenty of choice.
Breakfast buffet had a wide selection to cater for most needs.
Throughout the stay, service was excellent.
No complaints 👌 👍

We recently had our wedding in Clontarf Castle and we had the most wonderful and beautiful day. Every single guest enjoyed their stay so much and mentioned how friendly, helpful and professional all the staff were. Our wedding coordinator Monica was amazing and she made us feel so at ease and had every single detail under control. Everything about the day was perfect, there was nothing we could fault. And the food in particular was amazing! I don’t think we’ve ever eaten such amazing food. We cannot wait to return to the hotel for our anniversary next year. We want to say a huge thank you to every single staff member at Clontarf Castle. You made us feel so special on the day and gave us one of the best days ever. We are so grateful that we had such a beautiful wedding day and that all our guests had such an amazing time.

IAHIP celebratory dinner. Could not be faulted. Did not stay overnight but would love to have done so. It is known the beds are the most luxurious in Ireland! Brilliant manageress in charge of waiters and waitresses. They knew exactly what to do and she knew exactly what she wanted them to do. Fascinating watching the sheer efficiency of a hotel, where if you want something very special, this is it. Thank you for a very special visit.

I must say that after experiencing hotel stays in Italy, France, and Switzerland, this hotel in Ireland is king compared to all those. It has a high quality and comfortable bed. The pillows are on point and the air conditioning actually works😳, and I stayed in Lyon’s Marriott during this trip, so it wasn’t like I stayed in crappy hotels. In addition, the customer service is great; albeit, it may be a little slow in the restaurant. Despite that, it was a great experience, and did I mention those is a castle? Because it is🫢❤️
