Pleasantly surprised by this spot! Staff were very friendly and met our request to sit in the window. They were also happy to make recommendations. At the end of the day it is a no brainier to take advantage of the chef’s menu. It is an amazing value and allows you to try many different dishes. I think it’s the perfect spot for a special occasion, date night or catch up with friends.

This is the best meal I have ever had! I have absolutely no notes. The atmosphere was relaxed but still class, the staff were fabulous, and I will be thinking about the food for a very long time. The steak was incredible and every side was a perfect match. Highly recommend the ricotta cheesecake. Also really appreciate that they had some nice non alcoholic options such as kombucha. I will absolutely be back. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Best meal I have had in Dublin this year, by far. Excellent, simple menu with fresh, and in season local produce. Was blown away by food, something I don’t often say. No wonder it took so long to get a table! Recommending Host to everyone I know.

The Ragu was the best I have ever had 11/10
The steak cooked to perfection with the most incredible char 10/10
The potato’s and Aioli crispy and light 10/10
The radicchio salad and beetroot salad was lovely, a little bitter as to be expected 8/10

My wife and I went to Host last week for the first time and to be honest, the food was excellent. The menu was quite different from most other restaurants in the area and it was good to have something completely different and each course was of good size portions.  The quality and taste of the good was first class as was the service.
We would not hesitate to recommend Host to anyone. Thank you Host for a great meal and a great evening. Mr Mrs Tyler

Absolutely unreal spot for food. I’m easily satisfied when it comes to food but it’s so rare that I’m actually impressed.

Dishes are perfectly seasoned to the right amount, not too salty which I feel a lot of restaurants in Dublin currently can’t achieve. They all think salt = flavour.

Don’t bother looking at the menu at all if you don’t have dietary restrictions and just get the chefs menu, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is to share and it comes with two starters, two pasta dishes, a main and two sides of choice. There is also a dessert of choice to share at the end.

Staff were so accommodating and friendly as well.
