The food was absolutely amazing! The broth was so creamy and rich and salty! The tofu karaage was exceptional! The sauces were so good! What a great restaurant! I wish I lived in Dublin so I could come often!

Edit: After reading restaurant's response, I am appalled but not surprised.

Basically they are saying "If you can't pay us for water (tap water mind you, not bottled water), go somewhere else or don't order water".
Review:
1) They charge for water, Tap water !! This is peak profiteering - Squeeze all you can while you can strategy.
2) Food was  underwhelming, but not bad. Still multiple other places nearby, in City Center and on Grafton street which offer much better taste and definitely better value. One place is just round the corner from this place.
3) Refused to let us order a starter and a mains, even though we requested that one of us had dinner already. Pushed us to order 2 mains. I had to eat a full main on a full stomach. Guess they should learn when to make an exception.

Overall was our first and last visit, especially after reading their response.

Hope the free market teaches them a lesson very soon.

The ramen is very unique for the soya based soup, I ordered the spicy version but not spicy at all.
The chicken katsu curry is okay but not very happy for extra €4 charge for the curry.

Fried chicken as the starter tastes the average.

Generally can give it a try, but based on the taste and the price, won’t revisit it again. The price doesn’t match the taste, for Ramen place, I would recommend Zakura/ Yamamori more
