Decent priced drinks. Good music. Friendly.

We heard this was a great spot for a pint and some trad music, and it was! The bad has been playing for years and are such warm and friendly people.

It is fairly easy to find a quiet spot with the outdoor section and adjoining rooms if you want to sit and chat for a bit. I might be too used to London prices but, the pints didn’t break the bank and it was easy to find a bartender when I needed to grab a round.

If you are passing by stop in! Your night will be all the better for it.

This pub was a bit far away from the main action in Temple, but is well worth the effort to go see.  Absolutely fabulous musicians, and a great atmosphere.  The night I went they had a violinist, a guitarist, and a dulcimer.  The live traditional Irish music sounded magical.  I spent 2 days touring the pubs of Dublin and O'Donoghues had the best music.

Whenever we're in Dublin this place is our go to pub for a decent pint and a friendly, lively atmosphere.

A special mention to Paddy who always welcomed us with a friendly smile and some friendly chat. Nothing is ever too much trouble and all staff are friendly and efficient.

Everything great apart from the truly grim upstairs toilets. Your eyes almost watered on entry. I don’t know who thought a door mat under a urinal was a good idea but maybe best to remove them!
