What is the cost of a taxi to Dublin Airport?

 The cost of a taxi from The Shelbourne Hotel to the airport is between €30 – €40 depending on time of day.

 The Shelbourne Hotel offers a Valet parking service only. There is no need to pre-book this service, just pull up at the front door and we will park your car for you. The charge for this service is €50 per day / 24 hours.

 Check-in time is 3.00pm. All requests are reviewed on arrival day – we always endeavor to do our utmost to ensure you gain access to your room as soon as possible. However, this is highly dependent on occupancy level from the previous night and departures on the morning of your arrival – we can only guarantee check-in of 3PM. Alternatively, you can pre-book the room from the previous night to guarantee early arrival.

 Please contact our reception team on the morning of departure and they will be able to advise if a late check out is possible.

Top notch hotel! Service was 5 star in a beautiful old hotel.  Perfect location, close to shopping, Grafton Street, and trains.  Walking distance to Temple Bars.  Best doorman, "Pat the hat". We had a large family group and they took excellent care of us. We will definitely be back!

I had the most beautiful experience last Tuesday for a facial with one of my oldest friends, a gift from her to me.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty.
The staff are amazing, friendly, chatty and so helpful. They genuinely want you to enjoy your experience.
The facilities were amazing and plenty of towels and robes to hand.
Sudaporm carried out my treatment of a facial, a most relaxing enjoyable treat. This girl knows her stuff and is a credit to her
team.The products were of the highest calibre.
After being led to the relaxation room we were served with the most beautiful fruit bowl and champagne. The perfect end to a perfect day.
To all the staff Thank you. I have had many spa day experiences in top quality hotels but THIS by far was one of the best ever.
I would highly recommend a visit to The Spa at The Shelbourne.

A Gorgeous Historic Hotel in a Prime Location!

This stunning historic hotel is perfectly located, walkable to parks (great for an early morning run), site seeing spots, shopping, restaurants, and public transport. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, this is the place to stay.

During the Festive Season, the hotel was impeccably decorated and quite busy. It’s truly the place to be! While the bars were crowded and service was difficult to get at times, the 1824 bar on the second floor was a hidden gem and a great alternative option for hotel guests. With its regal decor and attentive staff, it was the perfect spot for a cocktail and good conversation.

Breakfast in the Saddle Room was convenient and featured traditional Irish hot dishes like rashers, black and white pudding, and more. There was also a wide variety of pastries, fruits, cheeses, and meats.

After a long day of sightseeing, we indulged in room service. Ordering was easy through the QR code in our room. The potato and leek soup was the perfect way to end the day, and I was delighted to try traditional Irish treacle bread!

The rooms are quaint, but the showers are spacious, and the beds are large and comfortable. The service from the staff was impeccable, making our stay even more memorable.

When we return to Dublin, this will be our first choice for accommodations.

We stayed for 3 nights. Small room but in a very good location. Thin walls so you can hear those above you. Low ceiling in the bathroom, my partner who is 6,2” found it very tight. Swimming pool was underwhelming. However the steam room was great. The 1824 bar for guests is lovely and intimate, highly recommend. Cleaners were excellent and all staff were very helpful and polite. We didn’t get any in room dining so can’t comment on how good that was.

Stunning hotel and definitely on our bucket list to stay in the future (hoping for a lottery win).
We enjoyed champagne in the Autograph bar and were seated straight away on a busy Saturday afternoon.
The staff were very efficient and friendly and the setting was breathtaking.
We will definitely be back again.
