This was my second time visiting Ireland and my first time staying at the Trinity City Hotel.  This time I brought my boyfriend and my brother with me, so they could experience the beauty and culture of Ireland. Trinity City Hotel made that experience much better. The food, the staff, the housekeepers, and the rooms were all excellent. It is also super close to the heart of the city (3 blocks) and close to public transportation like the DART (a train-like system).

The breakfast is worth purchasing as it has some good options for everyone; healthy, Vegan, and just omnivores.

The food in the Courtyard Restaurant and the Brunswick Bar was above average and delicious. The serving staff and the management went above and beyond with any questions or issues we had.

Some individuals who made our experience extraordinary and who I want to personally thank include Ciara B., Marie-Katy, Brendan, Anton, and Santiago. There were 3 more (a bartender and a supervisor at the Brunswick Bar), and a man in charge of housekeeping, but unfortunately, I did not catch their names.

I highly recommend Trinity City Hotel for individuals, couples, families, or business goers.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Trinity Hotel. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and received a complimentary room upgrade to a suite-which was incredible! The property was beautiful and the room was spacious, spotless, and had an amazing soaker tub. We felt totally safe and taken care of the whole time! The only thing was no bar fridge in the room or accessible ice, but when requested the bar service brought ice and a wine bucket to our room. The decor was festive for the holidays and had lots of indoor outdoor spaces for relaxing and grabbing a drink. Feels like a fancy hotel just with great prices!

We ordered room service, ate at the restaurant, and did breakfast and each time the food and service was great! Breakfast had a great spread and was something we added for a day. The reviews on their breakfast are 100% accurate!

The location was perfect as well! Close enough to walk to all major sites, safe area, and as a bonus was across the street from Dublin Express buses for easily cheap airport transportation. We walked around a lot and felt the hotel was in the perfect location.

I would highly recommend staying here!

Disappointing Experience at Trinity City Hotel

I stayed at Trinity City Hotel with a group of friends on December 14, and while the hotel seemed promising, my experience was marred by a particularly unpleasant encounter with a staff member. We reserved two rooms, and everything went smoothly until we returned late from our night out in Dublin and wanted to order some food. It was around 4 a.m., and according to the menu, food service was available until 6 a.m. However, when I called room service, I was told that the kitchen had already closed at 3:45 a.m. This didn’t align with what was written on the menu, so I called back, pointed out that the menu clearly stated food was available until 6 a.m., and questioned the inconsistency. Instead of offering a polite explanation or solution, the staff member on the phone became defensive and argumentative, using an unacceptable tone. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism, and I pointed out that his behaviour will be reflected in my review about Trinity city hotel. After about 10-15 minutes, there was a knock at the door, and when I opened it, the same staff member (I assume I had spoken with earlier) was standing there, yelling at me aggressively:
He accused me of threatening him with a negative review and claimed that I had too many guests in my room. I explained that those guests were also staying at the hotel and would soon return to their own rooms, after we order some food, but that didn’t stop him from continuing to shout.
When he had no other points to argue, he started accusing me of playing loud music that he can hear at the reception despite the fact that my room was on the fifth floor and I hadn’t been playing music at all. I tried to explain that his behaviour was unacceptable, but he just called me rude and repeated the same unfounded accusations before storming off. I have never been treated so poorly by hotel staff, especially not in Dublin.
It’s such a shame because the hotel itself is lovely, and we had been looking forward to a fun evening. But one staff member completely ruined the experience. I sincerely hope this was just an isolated incident, but I can’t recommend this hotel based on how I was treated.

We stayed here, and the rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. The food was excellent. We had breakfast, which was great and after we went back to have our lunch there. Really nice staff and very helpful. Will stay again.

This hotel was an absolute delight! The staff’s hospitality, the fantastic breakfast, and the comfort of the rooms made my stay exceptional.
