If you are starving and need to relax and eat then go up the hill from the Howth harbor and there's this nice restaurant just before the big church... the sitting outside is nice cozy and inside is more formal.... the food is yummy... fish is very fresh and delicious. . Staff was cool and very nice smiling... will definitely go there again.,..

We were in Howth for the day. We were looking for a place to have something to eat. We came across The House Restaurant. At first I wasn't sure if it was a Restaurant. From the outside it just looked a small little place. But we decided to check it out. It has an interesting history too. Captain Bligh used  live there. He was on The HMS The Bounty ship. He was involved In the Mutiny on The Bounty.
We went inside. It was a nice place with a homely feel. It was clean inside and the staff are friendly.
We ordered fish and Chips with mushy peas and curry tartare sauce. Everything was delicious. The peas were really fresh and the sauce was delicious too. It was one of the best fish and chips we have ever had.
This little place was a great find . Will definitely be back to try more!

We went for brunch on a Sunday morning and didn't have a reservation but the staff were very kind and accommodated us. Service was great and the food was phenomenal. Very impressed with the experience particularly the pancakes. We will definitely be coming back again
