Cima stupenda, panorama incredibile a 360° su Cervino, ghiacciaio del Plateau Rosa, e tutte le maggiori cime valdostane. Si può salire da Cervinia, Valtournenche o da Saint Jacques in val d'Ayas attraversando il vallone delle Cime Bianche (oltre 20 km a/r, ma è il percorso più bello, gli altri percorrono gli impianti da sci della Valtournenche, contro cui non ho nulla, anzi, ma d'estate ovviamente rovinano il panorama). L'ultima parte della salita, dal colle inferiore delle Cime Bianche, è giustamente valutata EE: sentiero ripido e terreno friabile; non è veramente esposta o pericolosa, ma bisogna sapere dove si mettono i piedi.

You can go up from Cervinia, Valtournenche or from Saint Jacques in Val d'Ayas crossing the Cime Bianche valley (over 20 km return, but it is the most beautiful route, the others go along the Valtournenche ski lifts, against which I have nothing, actually, but in the summer they obviously ruin the view). The last part of the climb, from the lower pass of the Cime Bianche, is rightly rated EE: steep path and loose terrain; it's not really exposed or dangerous, but you have to know where you're going.
