Came here to eat within the area where most people from matera live and it was a very positive surprise. The prices are way lower compared to the old town and the service and food was on a very high level. I would definetly go here again.

Amazing food for amazing price. Margarita 5€ and hamburger with french fries 7€. The decoration is also very nice . I recommend 100%.

We visited Matera for business.
Was a short trip and we wanted something to eat. We randomly came across the restaurant. Super friendly staff, cozy with a pinch of vintage atmosphere and most important FOOD .
I ve eaten in a lot of places in italy but this one was unique! Tastes , meat cuts and cooking 10/10. Would definitely recommended to anyone that wants to try something different than the classic Italian dishes .
Will visit again when around 🙃

The food was really good but poor service, the waitress didn’t even open my husbands beer, just put it on the table and walked away- he opened the bottle with a fork. They didn’t seem to care that we were tourists spending money and supporting their industry.
