Storica piazza di Napoli, con valenza nazionale. This is an outstanding square, key location for a walk around the city. Lighting in the evening can be improved to give the right setup to wonderful historical buildings. Police is always present to patrol the area. I suggest both day & night view!

It seems that the general rule in this city is that if it’s in arms reach then it’s been spray painted. And NOTHING is out of bounds. What an utter disgrace this place is. Junk graffiti everywhere. The locals obviously think that even the most sacred historical monuments look better with their initials on it. Pure arrogance or plain stupidity?!

The palace is stunning! Take into account that the gardens close earlier, so I recommend starting the tour in that area. We rented a couple of bikes from the rentals there and the owners were very kind. Biking through the gardens was totally worth it!
