Restaurant in the cave with the most stunning view!
Despite Italy being full of wonderful bars, cafes and restaurants this place definitely has the best views I have seen so far.
The staff was very friendly, we got seated very fast, restaurant was not crowded at the moment, and it is definitely a hidden gem, as you have to drive there by car for a while in mountains, and it takes 15 minutes to get there by foot from the nearest parking lot.
We have ordered only beverages as we just have eaten in a previous town, but the views on the sunset, the ships, mountains, beach and then huge orange moon- it has carved deeply into my memory as one of the brightest and happiest moments of my trip.

THIS PLACE WAD AMAZING!!! Me and my family came here for lunch and it was the best! I had the meat filetto with red wine sauce and baked potato’s and it was the best meat I’ve had in all of Italy! We also ate this caramel dessert which was amazing! Our server Agustino was the best!  He gave us many recommendations and help us out with the language differences. We don’t speak much Italian so he was able to translate everything into Italian perfectly! Overall the environment was amazing it kid-friendly and has great views!

The location, the view and the ambience is what really makes this restaurant a must. We booked in advance and were given a really lovely table.
The restaurant were great at communication as it rained on the original date of our booking. They moved us to the following day at the same time which was great.

The most romantic restaurant on the Amalfi coast!
This restaurant is directly on the water, the views were amazing, the food was delicious and the service was top-notch.  Definitely coming back again.

Loved Il Pirata! Came here twice in our time in Praiano. Such a beautiful location. Came for lunch one day and I had the seafood pasta, delicious! Also stopped in for drinks and we had some lovely spritzs and some snacks. I just sat for an hour and looked out into the water and watched the boats come and go. Their bar is in a cave, how cool!! Outside dining was nice and breezy. You can take a scenic walk after you leave around the cliffside. A few other restaurants nearby and a little cafe in the same area. Very limited parking down there, so recommend to take a bus, walk, or get dropped off.
