I visited for a short stay with my son and sister .all staff were wonderfull  very helpful  booked taxis for us gave  directions  and suggestions for places to eat .highly recommend, and we would stay there again

Currently staying here.  THIS IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL.
Our room is so very basic! No chest of drawers.  I’m staying with my sister and we had to separate the beds ourselves ( even though we’d requested twin beds).  The open wardrobe does not allow for hanging longer items, and comes with only five hangers! For two female travellers this is not enough.  As there are no drawers, our “foldable” clothes are currently spread across the third bed in the room.
The bathroom has no space for toiletries and we have had to move a bedside cabinet in there.
The balcony ( we have a “superior” room) fits a small bistro table and two chairs… it’s very difficult to sit two people at the same time!!!
Breakfast is cake!!!  There are some other continental style items, but hardly ever refreshed.
The noise from the cleaners is loud in the morning… but it’s because the walls are so damned thin!
We can hear people above us using the toilet!!!
The pool is very small with only about 8 sun beds.
This is a budget hotel charging four star prices!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful (although the receptionist on duty was a little grumpy at our late arrival - he'd cheered up by breakfast though!)

The rooms are very basic and functional so as long as you don't expect anything other than a place to sleep and shower you're going to be okay!

Breakfast was okay - although heavily based around cakes.

The pool is small with only a few loungers.  This wasn't an issue for us but if you're hoping to longe around the pool all day it might be.  Instead it's worth going to one of the local Lido's - the receptionist kindly rang ahead and booked places for us at Bagni Salvatore.

We recently arrived back to the US after a 10 day vacation to Italy. The hotel Pergola’s staff were amazing (Olga, Roseanne, Denella and Nickola). Each and every one of them were informative and quickly responsive to any need, concern or suggestion. Personally I want to thank Olga for organizing day trips, shuttles and taxis for us Americans with ease and patience. Nickola was excellent with the 50 so of us staying up until wee hours of the morning watching American football. I gave a 3 star for the room as we are used to larger accommodations but with that being said, we aren’t European so it’s just not what we’re used to. If you are looking for a place to stay while traveling in Sorrento, I would highly recommend!

We had the superior room.
Unfortunately it was far from that.
Very very small with no wardrobe just a hanging space.
The Bar is just the reception. Always deserted as no atmosphere.
On the up side there was a shuttle to the main town which is a 15 minute walk away.
Really a 2 to 3 star Hotel from what I have been to before.
I won't return.
