We got married in Sorrento and came back on our anniversary this year for a few days. We came to Lorelei on our last night, our first time here despite multiple visits to Sorrento over the years. A great start to the evening with cocktails at the La Colonna Sunset Bar, spectacular views and a glorious sunset. Then on to the restaurant where we had the tasting menu and the wine pairing. All very polished and professional, but lacking a bit of personality. If you like a bit of chat with the service team this isn’t the place, it’s very much a romantic couples destination and focus is on pure professionalism. The food was excellent, only maybe missing a hero dish on one of the courses. Issue for us was the wine pairing, really not good value at all - we are not big drinkers but each wine pairing was barely a couple of mouthfuls. The final pairing with the dessert was not even wine but a bottle of beer, really disappointing, the beer wasn’t even that nice. For the cost of the wine pairing we could have ordered 3 or 4 bottles of really good wines for the same price or less.  The other issue we found was a long wait from being seated to the first course and drinks, about 45 minutes where we only had water. At least we had the views while we waited.

Perfect place to hangout and enjoy the beautiful ocean. I stayed all day. €50 for a towel, beach chair, and umbrella. They also give you a small bottle of water, and a glass of wine.  Very responsible price for what you get. There are also clean bathrooms to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My lunch order was delayed for some reason, but the staff gave me some snacks, a beer, and more water free of charge for my trouble. I highly recommend!

We had the 8 course Free-hand menu and it was spectacular. The food was beautifully presented with amazing detail in every part of each dish, the flavours were so good.

The service was the best I have ever seen, again with attention paid to every detail. The experience is rounded off by the beautiful views of Sorrento.

Would highly recommend visiting Lorelei!

Highly recommend if you are in Sorrento! The view sold us while we were booking but it was the food, hospitality and details that made it an unforgettable and delicious night! I will be dreaming of that meal for a long time. This is a must do if you’re looking for a nice dinner.

What an experience! What a view! What a service!
My husband booked a table for my birthday - and it was a great experience. We took a 5-course Lorelei tasting menu combined with Wine tasting. The food was really good: I loved the small compliments from chef (we even got a pre-dessert), the scampi entree, the dessert. The wine was paired with food by the sommelier - amazing new findings and local grapes. The food was definitely complimented by the wine.
And the view… I even had tears of joy at some point!…
Probably the highlight was the service - the staff were very polite, friendly, professional and I would even say - seamless. You wouldn’t even notice them changing the cutlery, or filling up the water.
I definitely recommend this restaurant!
