The resort is very good. All facilities are well kept and the staff are helpful and friendly. The appointments range from basic to higher quality. We stayed in a basic and it was lovely (air conditioning included, which was useful as it was very hot during our stay). The pool and beach provide different ways to "holiday", and both have bars to provide drinks, ice-creams and some snacks. The beach bar only provides food at lunchtime. The restaurant is also located near the pool and is open in the evenings.

First class resort overlooking the sea. Very children friendly. Well organised and maintained. High quality food served at the restaurant with lunchtime snack available at the pool side bar or seaside bar/ restaurant. Well stocked mini food market for those who wish to self cater. Plenty of daily activities.

Sadly, it was not a perfect experience and I tell you why.

The first contact to the service crew was very pleasant, the people at the reception were all the time helpful, friendly, motivated and very professional. It was always a joy to see then.

Sadly these were the single motivated employees of this place.
The service personal at the pool bar, beach bar and also during the dinner in the restaurant were not at all motivated to do their job, maybe this has something to do with the situation, that no guest will give any tip, as this seems not to be usual behavior in the club.
There was always a feeling, as we are not really welcome and the work is no big joy there. If you saw some smiling, it was pure luck.

This also reflects the food in the restaurant. This was the worst food we've had during our stay in sicily. The Pizzas were fine.

The rooms were clean and room service crew was always on time.

The location is OK, sadly there is a big road beside the resort, so there's always a bit noise and the neighbours guard dogs seams to bark a lot.

The beach of the resort is nice, there is a stony passage, but also a way with pure sand on the left side of the beach for a secured entry.

I felt, that the two times a day sport including loud music randomly played at the pool or by the beach were a bit annoying.

Maybe also as a small hint for couples, there are lots of families with small children. If you don't want this, don't come here.

Overall it was fine, but there is surely some room for improvement, especially with the bar and restaurant service crew.

The resort is well placed near a private beach with plenty of sunbeds. The beach has a few stones, but once in the water it is mostly sand. The pool is also fine with enough sunbeds to avoid fighting. The whole area is lush, hilly and very pleasant.

However, it is a bit away from restaurants an groceries. Unless you have access to a vehicle you are bound to the hapimag's own restaurant. Many guests rent a car for the whole stay. Taxi into Cefalu is 17 euro.

Clean flats surrounded by beautiful trees, flower vines, and cacti. Applause to their landscape designer and gardeners!! You might say the beach has too many parasols. But, I found other sun-bathers all polite and quiet and didn't feel the beach too crowded at all. (It was the end of May so it may be different in real summer.) With the wonderful restaurant, pool, beach bar, my son didn't ever want to get out of the Hapimag 'ghetto'. The only problem I had was it was rather far from other places other than Cefalu. Yet that can be negotiated if you get their weekly program before you arrive and book the group tours (if you don't drive around there yourself).     I will be happy to go back there again and again.
