It's definitely one of our favorite cocktail bars during our 2-week Bologne trip. I was advised by a local to pay a visit here. The cocktails were exquisite. They also give you something to eat like ham on a bread on the house. The surrounding interior was very fascinating. The cocktails are around 10 euro/glass.

We had two back to back great nights at bar Volare. The quality of cocktails and drinks reminds me of some we’ve seen in extremely pricey bars in New York. The good news for you is these are great value prices for incredible drinks.

We had very inventive and fun cocktails that were delicious on top of having unparalleled service. We’ve been all over Italy and Europe, and this must be one of the best cocktail bars we’ve visited.

Our bartender Matteo shared about his life and Italy as we enjoyed fantastic cocktails on a perfect night in Bologna. If you’re in Bologna, you cannot miss Bar Volare.

Enjoyed several cocktails here in a fun and friendly environment. One of few bars we found in Bologna (and Italy in general) where sitting at the bar was possible and encouraged. The staff were fantastic! So welcoming and great answering our questions. Highly recommended!

A real old classic Italian bar. Nice dressed staff, really friendly. An almost theatrical scenery, that once you enter, it gives you the perception that you are in deep Italian aleys, while you are in the most packed with bars area. Excellent drinks !!! A must !!!

If you want to get great drinks this is the place to go. The bartenders and owner and very knowledgeable and passionate about the drinks they have and did a great job helping us find fantastic cocktails that we would like. There is a lavish selection of adventurous drinks from all sorts of different bases from gin to rum to mezcal and everything in between - everyone there was really great about sharing the stories of the drinks and what made them special. They were also extremely friendly and made it a fun relaxed experience.

Would absolutely come again!
