Was searching for best restaurant in Piacenza/Val Trebbia area and came across Riva at the Michelin Guide and it was better then I was expecting. Not Your typical Piacentini fair with lighter dishes and perfectly balanced flavors and beautiful creative presentations. Additionally, I have gluten allergy and I just had the best fresh baked breads I’ve had for many many years, and yes breads, several different breads! Plus nice and cost interior with perfect smooth jazz softly playing - Highly recommended
