Finalmente,dopo 20 mesi il Milestone è di nuovo aperto,con il bellissimo concerto del trio Antonio Faraò pianoforte,Ameen Saleem contrabasso e Maxx Furian batteria, bravissimi tutti e tre.Antonio con il suo particolare modo di suonare,la bella musica da lui composta,appassiona il pubblico.
Piacenza ha bisogno e gode anche,della qualità del Jazz Club,alla fine del concerto un bicchiere di vino e la bella compagnia aumentano il valore del club.
Bellissimo concerto anche stasera,13.11.2021.

Il repertorio di stasera è stato tutto dedicato al grande Jelly Roll Morton,arrangiamenti ed elaborazioni con strumenti particolari.
Il concerto di Sophia Tomelleri quartet il 27.11 è stato il solito concerto di qualità con professionisti all'altezza di Milestone.Mi è piaciuto molto Simone Daclon al pianoforte.

Finally, after 20 months the Milestone is open again, with the beautiful concert of the trio Antonio Faraò piano, Ameen Saleem double bass and Maxx Furian drums, all three excellent. Antonio with his particular way of playing, the beautiful music he composed , fascinates the public.
Piacenza also needs and enjoys the quality of the Jazz Club, at the end of the concert a glass of wine and good company increase the value of the club.

Tonight's repertoire was entirely dedicated to the great Jelly Roll Morton, arrangements and elaborations with particular instruments.
The Sophia Tomelleri quartet concert on 27.11 was the usual quality concert with professionals at the height of Milestone. I really liked Simone Daclon on the piano.

Volevamo partecipare al concerto di questa sera con molto entusiasmo, siamo partiti da Brescia chiamando continuamente ma la segreteria telefonica continuava a ricordarci che il locale era chiuso e così risultava anche da Internet. Tuttavia abbiamo persistito, siamo arrivati al locale, all’indirizzo diverso da quello riportato sul sito, all’ingresso un signore ci ha chiesto un tesseramento da 25 € ciascuno oltre i 10 € del concerto, totale 35 a testa che avremmo pagato molto volentieri, ma non disponendo di sufficienti contanti (mancavano 10 €) abbiamo proposto la carta che c’è stata negata.
quindi siamo dovuti uscire nostro malgrado e decidere di continuare la serata altrove.
Dobbiamo segnalare con grande rammarico che invece di accogliere i clienti entusiasti e motivati siamo stati respinti in un clima di freddezza indifferente, un’atmosfera emotiva molto distante da quello che per noi è il jazz.
E per il quale siamo stati disposti a fare un’ora di strada.
Se avessimo potuto interfacciarci con una persona telefonicamente, come si fa in qualsiasi locale notturno, saremo stati informati della necessità di questa somma in contanti e ci saremmo organizzati senza alcun problema.

peraltro abbiamo visto che la sala era semi vuota.
All’irish club di via San siro in Piacenza, veniamo spesso a sentire ottime band jazz gratuitamente gustando per di più un menu di tutto rispetto.

We wanted to participate in this evening's concert with great enthusiasm, we left Brescia calling continuously but the answering machine kept reminding us that the venue was closed and so it also appeared on the Internet. However we persisted, we arrived at the venue, at a different address from the one shown on the site, at the entrance a gentleman asked us for a membership of €25 each in addition to the €10 for the concert, a total of €35 each which we would have gladly paid, but not having enough cash (€10 was missing) we offered the card which was denied.
so we had to go out in spite of ourselves and decide to continue the evening elsewhere.
We must point out with great regret that instead of welcoming enthusiastic and motivated customers we were rejected into a climate of indifferent coldness, an emotional atmosphere very distant from what jazz is for us.
And for which we were willing to travel an hour.
If we had been able to interface with a person by telephone, as is done in any nightclub, we would have been informed of the need for this sum in cash and we would have organized it without any problem.

Too bad, a wasted opportunity. I take it off
however, we saw that the room was semi-empty.
At the Irish club in via San Siro in Piacenza, we often come to listen to excellent jazz bands for free while also enjoying a very respectable menu.

Ottimo locale buona proposta artistica musicisti jazz di buon livello in prevalenza italiani per il milestone a mio parere come appassionato uno dei migliori jazz club in Italia
