Amazing experience in one of the icons of italian cuisine. We tried the spongolata, bolliti & arrosti + capeleti in brodo. Everything is equaly spectacular. Beware the portions for bolliti/arrosti are quite big. Whatever desert you take remember to ask for an additional spoon of sabaione which is probably the best I ever ate. Ridiculously huge wine list and sublime service.

You can park in front of the restaurant and if you don’t have the italian parking meter they will give you a paper which regulates the parking.

Booked a table 2 weeks in advance after doing our research. We wanted to dine in a Michelin star restaurant and we thought this would be the place for us. Sadly we didn’t get to experience the food as the service was abysmal. We arrived 5 minutes earlier as instructed by the staff via phone, after confirming the reservation. We were told to wait even though all the tables were empty. We waited for 15 minutes without anyone checking in on us or even letting us know that there will be a delay. Meanwhile, other patrons that arrived after us were seated and had already received their drinks. We eventually left, as this was not the experience we were looking for. Ended up dining in a much more deserving family owned restaurant, in Carpi.

This is an old special place and the restaurant attached to it is a Michelin star restaurant that offers a dining experience like no other. This was probably the highlight stay of our entire trip. The town was nothing special but the people and the service was phenomenal. By the third day we would be joined by locals having our espresso in the square and while away at the time watching Italians being Italians. Loved loved loved this place

Extraordinary hotel with an awesome vintage design. Interior decoration gives an impression of traveling back in time for a couple of decades at least. The room was very neat and quiet, the bathroom spacious. While having a tasty breakfast you can watch staff working on a handmade pasta and dough products. Definitely worth visiting.
