It is a stunning property on a hill in remote farmland. It's designed by people who love what they do. There are just a few great suites available and they are all within the wine barrel and vinegar distillery area. And, the restaurant is unbelievably great. The only problem we had was that is was raining the whole time we were there. Otherwise, we would have swum at the pool and sat on the back deck looking at the picturesque countryside. It's close enough to Modena and several stunning villages to make it a great getaway from the typical tourist spots. And, they had an electric car charger for free.

The hotel is set above a lovely vineyard. Modern clean rooms and a nice breakfast buffet.  The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. They make vinegar and well worth a tasting.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Opera 02. Upon arriving we were greeted by a few farm animals near the car park, and entering the building there was a fantastic aroma of balsamic. The decor and atmosphere were well done and we could see the tasting room? Keg room? On the way to our room. The room itself was also great, with a view and balcony looking out right over the vineyard, and it came with a robe for each of us.  There was also a nice pool and patio area, and a wonderful restaurant.

I do not recommend this hotel. When we first stayed here, the view and location were stunning. However, four years later, the rooms are not well-maintained. One room had mold so severe that our party had to share a room, and the upstairs was unbearably hot, making it impossible to sleep. I would not recommend this place.

Review is for wine and balsamic tasting.
We managed to find an absolute gem with this Lambrusco wine and organic balsamic vinegar tasting at the O2 premises.
The tasting was excellent value and Alice who hosted us was an absolute pleasure. Alice was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, spoke  English very well, and we learnt so much about the unique area, some local history and the products on offer. She answered all our questions and we didn't feel rushed.
For the quality of the wine and balsamic, being organic and hand harvested, the prices for products completely reasonable.
We had a wonderful afternoon!
