We had a lovely dinner experience at this restaurant and the menu was very nice. Several meals looked really tasty, making it hard for us to pick. The waitress was super friendly and provided us with some recommendations and the food was tasty. Unfortunately none of the dessert items spoke to us so we didn’t end up trying those. Generally speaking we had a nice time and were glad to have made the reservation. The pluma dish was quite unique and unlike anything I have had before.

After reading some differing reviews, we didn’t know what to expect going into this dinner. We tried to go for lunch on a Sunday and were turned away because it’s reservation only (for both lunch and dinner). They told us we have to make a reservation online. We made one for Tuesday dinner. They had both Italian and English menus, and treated us very kindly. Okay the food: Outstanding. We got the “don’t call me an artichoke” for a starter, the tagliatelle with ragu and gnocchi for primis (both the best pasta we’ve had here), and the iberian pluma for a secondi. The pluma was the most tender meat I’ve ever tasted. We finished with tres de leche and chocolate mouse for dessert - both wonderful. The service: it was okay. They were very nice, but a it’s a bit hectic since multiple people are waiting on the same tables and they seat everyone at once. There is a separate waiter that handles wine, so it took several minutes for us to get our glasses of wine (which was fine). They also brought us the wrong dessert and didn’t bring us more water when we asked, but again, not a big deal to us personally. All in all, the food alone makes this place absolutely worth a visit.

Their starter refers to the cold cut and and the cheese ice cream. They recommend you to order both and they are simply delicious.

But i think the highlight is the cheese ice cream. The cold cuts are good but not ground breaking.

The gnocchi dish was great. Do order it. It's called "if my grandma was 30"

We did a whirlwind tour of Italy last month and this was hands down the best place we ate. All 8 of us for dinner were amazed at the food, service, and just pure passion for what they do there.  Even the most "simple" dish of tortellini in broth popped with flavors that I still remember.  I will be recommending this place to everyone and anyone.

Wow. What an amazing experience. It began by the waiter asking us to be adventurous in our ordering and to not stick to the "typical" cuisine. We asked him what he recommends and pretty much ordered his recommendations. Best decision ever. We got to try some outstanding bites of unique food, including the slow cooked egg, cheese ice cream, agnolotti, wild pork, and bolognese friggione. One of the best meals in Bologna in such a beautiful restaurant. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
