Amazing food.  I would absolutely go again.
Just outside the more touristy area, well worth the few minutes walk. I also recommend the local sparkling wine in the picture. Different and fresh.

One of the premier restaurants in Ravenna.  Beautiful historic building with tasteful decor and a sumptuous green garden for the summer al fresco dining. Very nice food. Let us sit on a while though maybe because we didn’t realize that one went to the desk for an old style check out with our paper based menu choices. Really good nonetheless. Tad expensive but worth it. Wine recommendation worked well.

Al Gallo is an outstanding trattoria--one of the very best we have found in Italy. The food is expertly prepared and presented. The wine list is extensive and well curated. The service is impeccable. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy eating here. Be sure to reserve a table in advance. The word is our!

In this old, authentically traditional trattoria, you'll find the soul of Ravenna. The place has not changed over years and when you get in you'll be like in 1900. The dishes are really well done, tasty and traditional.  The personnel is nice and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Very elegent place with everything keeping up with the standards. The couisine was quite tasty and the portions were adequate. Would recommend. Had cappelletti with truffles, anchovy meatballs, zucchini soup and maccaroni with sardines. The owner was super friendly and chatted with us.
