We were excited to visit a Michelin restaurant so close to the magnificent Colosseum. The food was decent, the bread was absolutely delicious, and the chef’s complimentary offerings were a lovely touch.

Aroma is worth visiting for the location and ambiance, but the food didn’t quite live up to our high expectations.

If you have an abundance of money beyond your needs and are looking to get rid of it quickly, this place is the best way to burn through your cash in no time. Be advised, you should arrive with a full stomach before coming here. What will be served to you are merely miniature samples of dishes that haven’t been properly cooked.

We tried the chef's tasting menu. Wine paring was amazing, it was truly well done. Food was very good, just like anything and anyone, preferences varied. In my opinion all dishes were very good except for one.

Price is a bit high for the restaurant. On the other hand, prices at these types of restaurants have been going up recently.

Overall great experience. The view is great, the restaurant is small but it doesn't feel crowded.

Great spot for foodies and history lovers. I would recommend booking an early evening service so you can enjoy the Colosseum at sunset and avoid the heat of the day. We went there for our honeymoon dinner and the view and the food were hands down the best I’ve ever had. I will say there were two let downs. One being the fact that we had to choose the same menu at our table, my wife loves seafood and I wanted to have the meat menu but we could not. Two being I knew it was going to be expensive and I had no problem paying for the experience but there are a lot of hidden fees. The menu was about 220 each plus the wine pairing that was another 100 each plus water which was 10 each so that adds up to 660 so when the bill came and it was 1000 euros plus I tipped 200 euros so 1200 in all and the bill is in Italian I don’t know where the other 340 euros came from on the bill.
