I highly recommend enjoying a coffee and food at this establishment, while watching the world go by. Delicious food and fantastic, friendly customer service. Food was of high quality, very tasty and good portion sizes. Left the restaurant relaxed and happy (and full).

If you are looking for a home during your trip in Rome, Caffetteria Sonnino is the right place. It is run by a friendly family , the very good and typical Italian food and drink are offered. I visit there for 5 times during my 5 days stay in Rome

Very nice place nearby the Vatican but not too close so that it is not crowded!
The tarts are generous and super tasty. The amount of whipped cream is amazing !
The waiter kindly recommended us the best the house serves and it did not disappoint.
I shall be back to try more of their pastries

I went in June! these are the sweetest people in all of Rome! i really liked their pistachio cappuccino and would really recommend to go here.

I came across this cafe while searching online and I’m so glad I did! It was the cutest cafe ever! It was owned by a local Italian family who were the sweetest and most welcoming people ever. They spoke English and Italian and explained each dish to us before we ordered. The food came out quickly and it was so delicious! We loved the pastries so much that we came back for pasta and got pizza to-go. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, I highly recommend this cafe! I hope to visit again next time I’m in Italy!
