Nice place, ranked in top 50 bars of the world. Got in there without any queue on Tuesday’s evening, was quite empty. The gin section is not very wide though, out of 3 gins that I asked them, they had none of those that I wanted. The place is quite cold if to sit near the windows. The service is great and friendly! I’d say it’s a good stop point for a drink before going to some more interesting place in this area.

There are places much better than this cocktail bar that are not in Top50, this is just a usual bar. The staff were nice but the drinks are far away from what I expected. I have some experience with cocktail bars and I really don’t get the hype of this place. Even the Negroni was too sweet.

We will travel anywhere for a cocktail from Manuel. We first tried Manuel and Ricardo’s concoctions at Fives Bar in New Orleans, so of course we had to come see them in action in Italy!
Freni e Frizioni is repping Rome on the World’s 50 Best Bars list. Masterful cocktails, lively atmosphere and staff that will have you feeling like you’ve just visited an old friend. Can’t recommend this place enough.
