Roma is the first stop of our Europe trip therefore I was rather picky when I chose the hotel, and G-Rough is absolutely exceptional.

The hotel staffs are all amazing and super helpful throughout our stay. I really would like to shout out to everyone on duty during our stay. We were warmly welcomed by the manager who took care of all the check in things and all we did was sipping Aperol Spritz at the G-Bar. We also had lots of great chats with Stefano (I think it’s the name) regarding Roman local things and culture. There was that bartender girl we didn’t get a chance to ask her name but she has brunette/black hair and tall who ran the extra mile helping us to get the taxi multiple times and following up my laundry request. Grazie everyone Grazie Mille!

Another reason why we booked this hotel is for its interior design. The more we travel around Roma the more we realise how much efforts did the designer put in this place. Everything in the room reminds you that you are in Roma. Despite the location is in the heart of the city, we didn’t hear a lot of noise at night and our sleep quality has been great.

We will come back again :)

An absolute 5 star experience! From the pre-check in communication to the holding of our bags when we headed back to the hotel after finding ourselves delayed by 12 hours, the experience was FLAWLESS. Lorenzo was an absolute gem, Andrew was extremely helpful, and the rest of the staff we encountered were kind. The design is exquisite and the rooms large in size and incredibly well appointed, even by non-EU standards. Highly recommend and will be back again!

At age 75 and having travelled extensively, I have never stayed either home or abroad, at a hotel that provided the extent of comfort, uniqueness, service, hospitality, and graciousness, as G-Rough in the center of Rome, Italy.  At the moment of our arrival off of a cruise ship, to our exit to sadly return home to the U.S., Stefano, the hotel's manager, concierge, greeter, baggage handler and public relations representative treated us as Royalty.  He exhibited every characteristic that the owner of the hotel describes in the in-room brochure, "G-Rough Is Not A Hotel." We could not have asked for more personalized and gracious service during our three day stay at the hotel located in a building that is of 17th Century bones, and contemporary/1950's personality.  His nighttime clone, Lorenzo was every bit as helpful for those little things that we forgot to acquire during daytime hours.  And the breakfast chef, the bartender(s) during morning to evening hours, as well as the housekeeping staff, did all that they possibly could to create for us an almost wonderland experience in one of our favorite countries in the world.  We cannot thank you enough for the best trip ever--and this has been our third trip to Rome since 2006.  Ciao!

Really kind hotel staff (thank you for the gorgeous upgrade!). Super boutique vibes. Beautiful, impeccably decorated rooms with really lovely amenities. Great for anyone who dislikes large, sterile hotels.

Absolutely loved the G-Rough. Wife and stayed 3 nights.  Awesome location.  Really nice rooms and super friendly staff.  Would definitely stay there again.
