I recently hosted an event at this beautiful and historic hotel, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. The Sala Festa event space was absolutely stunning—elegant, timeless, and full of character. Some may say the guestrooms are old, but I would describe them as classic and reflecting the rich history of the hotel, which I appreciated even more after reading about it on their website.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Special thanks to Lani, who handled all the details with such care, and a heartfelt thank you to Alessandro, the F&B Manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel special throughout our stay. The carefully curated dinner was delicious, the wine pairings were perfect, and the presentation of both the food and dessert was beautiful.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs. I believe her name was Patricia at the front desk—she greeted us warmly and already knew who we were. Every staff member we encountered added personal touches that made the experience feel truly elevated.

This hotel will always have a special place in our hearts, and we’ll return every time we visit Rome.

Stopped in for a drink, a lovely quiet haven on a busy street. Perfect spot for us to relax and beautiful setting

This is perhaps one of the best hotels in all of Rome!  The location is perfect, the hotel itself is phenomenal, and rooms are wonderful.  The entire team and staff at the Grand Hotel Plaza attend to every need and are professional and courteous, a true joy to interact with.  The hotel is clean, luxurious, and relaxing.
The breakfast itself is an experience to remember!  The Grand Hotel Plaza comes with my highest recommendation.

I really had high hopes for this hotel but not the case! Smells like mold, no locks on rooms in suites(important when you have 2 bedroom suites with multiple people) pipe under sink randomly burst everywhere. Thankfully I was here because it took them 20 minutes just to get someone to shut off. Add on extra 2 hour to fix then clean up. Pretty sure we are the only other people staying here! My husband put it best. It’s like a scene from the shining. Also, the AC don’t expect anything from that either. You would think with all the luxury shopping areas around the area they would provide a better quality service at the heart of a city.

This wasn’t my first stay at Grand, I did stay there last year and it was a great stay that’s why I have re-booked it.
Horrible mistake and what a waste of money.
The first night we were placed on the 5th floor where they had renovations being done, not respecting that we are on a holiday and we had to wake up at 8 am from the screaming and loud voices from the workers! Of course no voice isolation in the room because it’s antic. Workers were painting walls and fixing terraces. We have asked the receptionist to change our room because this is not the stay that we have paid for, I didn’t pay to sleep on a floor that is being refurbished!! Of course our request was neglected for 2 days and we kept nagging until we were moved to the second floor where we were placed in a room with no AC, no telephone and locked safe.
We had to get physically go down again to reception to point out all the flaws in the room :)
Finally we were moved to rhetorical 3rd floor where we were sleeping on jail beds :) bathroom door that wasn’t locking and shared room entrance.
Hotel doesn’t provide complementary water, iron nor kettle or a coffee machine.

The lady on the front desk and the other young Italian guy were trying their best to help us I would give them that.

This should be a 3 star hotel maximum, horrible and one of the worst experiences I have ever had!!!
