The staff was very nice! The rooms were as described on the reservation. Very clean and great location. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard we had to ask for additional pillows. There is a strong smell of sewer coming out of the bathroom so the window stayed open, shower is very small (for tall people) Breakfast was delicious.

Terrible!!! TVs are old. Have to pay for water. Cannot adjust temperature in room. No overnight plugs to charge electronics plugs turn off with lights.  Went for a coffee in hotel where it was free with breakfast and was charged 5 euros for 1 coffee! We are hotel guests and it should be free in my opinion. I hate this place.

I enjoyed my stay here! The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff were also extremely kind and helpful. I was a little nervous about the area being far from city center but it's actually in a very cute neighborhood with lots of cute restaurants! We really enjoyed exploring the area, and there's a train nearby that was very convenient to use. The complimentary breakfast wasn't the best breakfast that I've ever had but I was very content with it, there were lots of options and it was nice to have a free breakfast every morning.

The only thing I didn't love was that our room was not in the main building. We were in like a small adjacent building in the courtyard, which would have been fine, but we were near the entrance/exit to maintenance/housekeeping, and they woke us up every morning around 8am. They would talk outside our window and were just generally loud coming and going.

Stayed here Feb 2024. One star is too much for this hotel and it is definitely not a 4-star hotel, the customer service is absolutely despicable - the reviews posted before mine are all after my stay and my complaint is still ongoing with this hotel. The pictures they have posted of breakfast are misleading, the breakfast is not suitable for vegetarians and mainly consists of different fruits, cheese and pastries - definitely not 4-star breakfast. I have also come to the conclusion that people of colour and visibly religious people are not at all welcome at this hotel. Females - please protect yourself, do not stay here alone. My room was entered without my consent, despite me informing housekeeping not to enter my room at all. They understood what I had said, and crossed my room number off their cleaning list. I was staying here on a business trip, I returned to my room almost 12hrs later and found that my room had clearly been entered and tampered with. When I went downstairs to complain about this, the lady at the desk had a smirk on her face throughout the whole interaction and found this situation funny despite seeing how visibly upset I was. She sent the bell boy upstairs to the room with me, who confirmed to me that housekeeping had not entered my room as "they do not leave rooms like this". The lady at the desk then claimed that housekeeping went into my room to clean, but the bellboy confirmed again that they indeed hadn't because the bed had not been made. The lady at the desk asked me if anything had been taken, I said I am not sure, I had not yet checked but I know I have my passport and laptop with me - upon which she confirmed "so nothing has been taken then". I asked her how would she know unless she checked my suitcase herself... She called the Duty Manager who said the same thing, that "nothing had been taken". For them to know nothing had been taken, implies they must have entered my room... They tried to offer a free dinner but not one person seemed to understand that my privacy had been violated and that I did not feel safe staying at this hotel anymore. Not a single person apologised. I signed a contract to be given exclusive access to my hotel room, but people had entered and left the balcony door unlocked and wide open (so other guests could have easily entered) with all the lights left on. Just imagine, I had to ask the lady at the desk if she left the front door of her home open or closed prior to arriving to work - if she left her door open then there's no problem here(!) When I complained through booking.com, this hotel lied about several things. They claimed there was an electrical fault in my room - if we entertain this excuse then a 4-star hotel would keep clear record of all maintenance, where is the record of this electrical fault? Why were all lights left on? This could have started a fire if their lie is to be believed? And why did they say this to booking.com 2 days afterwards and not to me directly at the desk... Despicable. They then claimed I did not put a "do not disturb" sign on the door - there was no such sign anywhere in the room but they claim there was. They then lied and said housekeeping does not speak English and misunderstood my request. A 4-star hotel with non English speaking staff... Well, now you can see how desperate their lies became. I have been travelling across Europe for almost 18 months and have never had any issues at any of my hotels, except this one. The investigation is still ongoing and a resolution is pending.
