Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.  Some areas worth commenting on include:

Location: Nicely situated between Spanish Step (shopping area) and Roma Termini (train station).  This makes it convenient to walk to food and shops or take public transportation.  (I did a lot of walking and exploring.)  I've stayed at the Spanish Step previously, but I liked this hotel as it was a little farther from all the crowded mess.

Rooms: Well sized and clean.  I really like some of the small details such as having shampoo and conditioner supplied.  Also very important is having a comfortable bed that isn't too firm.

Price: Staying in central part of Rome will cost more and this is expecting.  I felt this this hotel was priced well for the area it's in (and is one of the big reasons for chosing this hotel).

This hotel, just a short walk from the Trevi fountain  is an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable, tucked away on a charming street but still right in the heart of Rome’s magic. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The lobby has gilded mirrors and walls adorned with Renaissance paintings. The staff was warm and attentive and had great recommendations for exploring the city. The breakfast was the real star, with fresh juices, fruits, cheeses, fresh pastries, and more! We were given a Christmas gift of prettily wrapped  chocolates.  Bellissimo!

Absolutely fantastic! We stayed here for 3 nights for my birthday weekend and it was just brilliant 👏 we would like to especially mention Luca on the front desk who was welcoming, helpful and had a great sense of humour! Due to the storm which had hit the UK some flights were being cancelled so to pre plan we asked if they could accommodate us should our flight be cancelled and Luca was so reassuring and said of course we could stay if needed so that was a relief! Thankfully our flight was not cancelled but the service here was 10/10. The hotel even gave me a bottle of 🍾 and a lovely happy birthday message ☺️ would highly reccomend and would definitely stay again!

Great place between  Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps.
They have a small bar area and serve snacks ( we didn’t try these).
Great choice of breakfast with fresh orange juice (juice yourselves) and very friendly and helpful staff.
Overall a great choice.

First and foremost, I want to commend three of the staff members—Angelo, Frances, and Paolo. Throughout my stay, they consistently provided exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism, helpfulness, and a genuine commitment to ensuring a positive experience for your guests. Their efforts greatly enhanced the quality of my stay, and I believe they deserve recognition for their outstanding work.

Unfortunately, I must also share a troubling incident that occurred during my stay. We experienced a horrible situation with the night shift front desk attendant named Fabio. We went downstairs at 5:00 in the morning on August 31st to ask for help and saw Fabio sleeping on the sofa by the breakfast area. We woke Fabio up and ask for help but he was rude and unprofessional about the situation. This behavior was not only disappointing but also alarming.

As a guest, I felt unsafe knowing that the front desk attendant was sleeping during the night hours, especially while the front door remained unlocked. This situation is deeply concerning, as it raises serious security issues and reflects poorly on the hotel's overall reputation. I strongly urge management to take immediate action, as this compromises both guest safety and the high standards the hotel is known for.
