Is really nice to go back to Rome and to stay in Mama Shelter for the weekend. The reception staff is really friendly, helpful and welcoming .Bar and restaurant is very stylish and the staff is very nice, the food is like always delicious. I like all the hall area and the garden outside.Rooms are very clean and I loved the notes around the place to make us feel like home at Mama Shelter. I would recommend it to everyone who is going to Roma to stay at Mama Shelter Roma. Definitely going back there again.

I recently stayed at Mama Shelter Rome and, unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. While I understand that some issues may arise beyond the hotel's control, it is ultimately their responsibility to handle them appropriately—and this is where my disappointment lies.

From the moment we arrived, we faced multiple challenges:

- Room Access Issues: The key card system was not functioning, and we had to rely on staff to accompany us to our room each time, leading to long and inconvenient wait times.

- Facilities: The steam room was out of order despite being part of the advertised amenities, and the elevators were non-operational for an entire morning.

While I shared my concerns with the front office manager early in my stay, the feedback was not handled adequately. No follow-up occurred, and the situation remained unresolved, leaving me feeling unheard. I believe that challenges like these could have been opportunities for the team to improve the guest experience, but this was not the case here.

For the price of the stay, the quality and service do not align with expectations. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen another hotel, such as The Hoxton Rome, where I’ve had consistently excellent experiences and which offers a similar price point with far better service.

On a positive note, the location of Mama Shelter Rome is fantastic, and the rooms are clean, which deserves acknowledgment. However, these aspects alone are not enough to compensate for the lack of proper service and care.

I cannot recommend this hotel, especially when there are better options available in Rome at the same price point. I hope management takes these comments into account to improve future stays for their guests.

Can’t recommend this place enough. The rooms and atmosphere was amazing. Very cute and unique spot. The service was amazing. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. And their restaurant had delicious food.

Best hotel ever! The staff are young, passionate and full of energies. The design is artsy, edgy and colorful. The breakfast and dinner are both fantastic. Thank you Leonardo for your great service! We truly enjoyed our dinner!

Our stay was nothing short of excellent.  The man who checked us in was so lovely and kind enough to upgrade us to a large room with a balcony!  Rooms were tidy and clean, and the amenities were great.  There was a pool and fully equipped gym!  Location is good, 5 minute walk to the station.  Couldn’t have asked for a better stay 👍🏼
