Absolutely amazing, myself and husband stayed 3rd-7th March. We previously had stayed pre Covid, and the Rooftop Garden where breakfast was served so beautiful, but at night it was spectacular. This time an added attraction was a restaurant, serving lunch and dinner, food was great. All staff, so polite and kind. Really enjoyed and can't wait to see you all again. Many thanks to all the staff.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and we are beyond impressed.
Every member of staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming.
They went out of their way to help us and nothing was too much bother.

The room we stayed in was immaculate, the beds very comfy and everything was very clean.

The food and drinks in the restaurant upstairs were very nice and the breakfast every morning was delicious with a wide variety of food options.
An added bonus was the view from the terrace upstairs is breathtaking.

My husband and I chose to walk to all the main attractions and from this hotel it's definitely achievable, there is however a tourist bus which you can get on instead and you can buy a ticket at reception which is helpful if you're too tired to walk!

It bears repeating again just how lovely the staff were, it made our holiday extra special being greeted everyday by such kind people.

I definitely recommend this hotel to others, I think it's value for money.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we'll be coming back again in the future.

I wasn't too impressed by this hotel. My room was bit run down, it a had a weird wicker carpet that felt horrible to walk on. It had brown tattered fabric walls that made the room feel dark and dingy. No full length mirror either. No AC or fan. The bed was really comfy but didn't get a good sleep because there was a rooftop bar above us that made lots of noise closing at night then once you finally sleep you are woken up early with them setting up for breakfast (no ear plugs offered). The reception staff were great but the porters are not adding value, they insist to carry your bags a few feet to the lift, stand awkwardly in the lift, show you basic things in your room then linger in hopes that you will tip them. I could have asked for another room but why should I have to? Shouldn't the rooms be quality to begin with? If you are staying here definitely avoid the 6th floor because it seems like other people enjoyed their stay but we got unlucky.

Me and my wife spent a week here over Christmas and I cannot recommend this hotel more. The location was great, within easy walking distance of pretty much all the landmarks and attractions, a huge selection of amazing food some of which is just 10 seconds walk from the hotel door. The view from the rooftop bar and restaurant is spectacular (also the location of a massive and delicious breakfast every morning, including on Christmas Day).

What really makes the Marcella special though is the staff. Anytime you interact with any member of staff, you will walk away thinking "what a nice person". Nothing is too much effort, anything you need is provided instantly and there is someone available 24 hours a day, even through the holidays. Everyone is lovely, especially the breakfast staff, the doormen, the maid, but the loveliest of all (or at least who I interacted the most with) are the receptionists - every time I came and went, they would have helpful advice about my day ahead, info about the city, or just a friendly smile. Needless to say everyone speaks English, but they're happy to let you practice your bad Italian on them if you want.

If it was possible to give more than 5 stars I would.

Beautiful hotel in the right ace, about 15mins walk to the main areas.
Roof top bar was lovely, and the long island ice teas wee lethal 😊
The staff extremely helpful, catered to all our needs. Food was nice in the hotel..
Breakfast is continental, with the exception of sausages, eggs and bacon. All again very nice.
Will be staying again
