An attraction not many tourists know about. Walking distance from Trastevere station. Great variety of local food, music and drinks and parties during the weekends. Rich flavors bearing many famous restaurants. Real food.

Fantastic place, a slice of 'real' Rome and to experience the daily lives of Romans. Great fresh produce, lively bars and eateries, all at local/ reasonable prices - Caffè corretto with Brandy was €1.50.

Testaccio Market is for locals. They are selling fresh food. I had breakfast with  coffee and croissants. Prices are fair.

Such a wonderful place to slow down at while in Rome. We were able to grab a few bites to eat while here and it felt unrushed. Lots of people just doing their own thing. Ended up visiting more than once to try all the food we saw. Definitely recommend if are travelling and would like some place to eat or shop that isn't expensive.
