READ BEFORE VISITING!

this is a huge park (free, public) that has many paths - some are wide and "official" and some are in the woods part of the park.

There you can feel totally immersed in nature and have a nice hike in the woods, on natural paths and in between trees.

You won't find many facilities here, so if that's what you want - try another park. You will find lots of nature!

Please note the following:

1. There is no "Villa" in the park that is "Villa ada" and which you can see/visit. This is the name for the entire park so no need to search for one...

2. The only structure that looks like a villa is actually the Egypt Embassy, which you can't visit nor access unfortunately.

3. The main entrance is called "Ingresso monumentale di Villa Ada" on Google maps. There seem to be other roads that lead to the park but some of them are private roads with locked gates.

For example, Google maps might take you through a university in order to get inside the park, however if you are not attending it, you can't access it and have to walk all around it.

4. There is another, cool and hidden entrance which is basically a hole in the wall. It's called "Buco di via di San Filippo" and it's on the west side of the park.

It's not for strollers or bikes - only passable by foot. Once inside the park, you'll have to find your way in the woods in (mostly) unmarked paths - so if you like adventures, this is a perfect way inside the park!

For this part of the park I advise proper walking/sports shoes (doable with sneakers as well but up to you).

5. There are no restaurants or cafes inside the park, only close to the road on the east. So please bring food and snack if needed. There are water fountains here and there but do also bring water bottles.

6. It's possible to hike, bike, jog, exercise, meditate, sun bath, have a picnic and just relax in this park as it is pretty big.

You will also find a small playground for kids, small ponds with turtles and a country club.

This is a very lovely park with a fairly unique temple monument inside the park. It’s still is fairly good condition considering it’s been abandoned. It was nice to stumble upon this in the park. I enjoyed my time spent here and would recommend checking it out.

Nice place to take some rest. You can go there with your pet and enjoy the time. In there you can also jogging. For the kids also better place💚. Can have the meals also there are some tables. But don't throw garbage everywhere ❤❤ enjoy the nature 🌳 🌳 🌳 🌳

It’s a nice enough park, but I’ve just been to so many better ones around the world. Out of all the amazing sights I saw in Rome this one was not all the interesting. There is a great museum in the park, but I wouldn’t bother with the rest of it. Not much as far as good food & drinks either.
