Our favorite restaurant after spending 9 days in Italy having amazing food. This is the best little family run place.  We were fortunate enough to have our host recommend this place. We ate here two nights in a row!

Cozy and eclectic little restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. We all had the cacio e peppe pasta (we wanted gnocchi since it was traditional on Thursdays but they had run out), which were good but not the best I've had. The meat dishes with vegetables we saw on other tables looked very well cooked and appetizing, therefore would try those if we came back. For dessert we had the homemade tiramisu, which was very tasty and not too sweet.

If you want good homemade no frills Roman food, this is the place. Excellent! Probably going back again before I leave Rome.

Fully recommended in case you're looking for an authentic experience in a roman tavern.
Recipes and courses are fresh, strictly close to the tradition and  homemade. Prices are fair. Location is simple and aligned with the tavern philosophy but in a romantic small square of Trastevere neighborhood.
If I have the chance I'll be happy to visit this place again.
