No doubt the best meal we had in Roma, everything was exceptional
The service was very efficient knowing what we need before we ask and helpful
As for the food homemade pasta was delicious and of course the beef we had both carpaccio and Florentine steak beautifully cooked
Our wine was excellent and came slightly chilled for drinking in the summer heat and we were about to move outside for our desert coffee and amaro
Bellissimo truly a beautiful dinner to remember

The waiter keep giving pressure on ordering food and waiting for the bill almost for an hour.

Walked over 30 minutes per recommendation of our host. Arrived 30 minutes past opening. Website does not tell reservation is required but we were not aloud to sit. Not one table was taken at the time. We were dressed appropriately as we were prepared to go out for dinner. It felt as if we were not wanted because we have American accents but idk if that’s the case. Was not a good experience - I never write bad reviews either.

If you are not a local, just do NOT go here. Locals get all the service, i.e. bread, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic and chips. As a tourist, you observe that you are being ignored and you HAVE TO ASK for everything, and being charged anyway. And at the end waiter asked twice for a tip in CASH. Honestly, just walk by this restaurant and don’t stop and don’t look back. Food is good, but portions are small. Our waiter asked twice what water we ordered, we said sparkling, with bubbles, with gas and he opened still water bottle and RAN away. Additionally, on the website you can’t see nor download the menu. All in all, service is bad, portions small.

If you need to eat gluten free this is not a good place for you. The menu said to talk to the server about any food sensitivity issues, yet when I asked for my pasta gf, they serine regular wheat based pasta with no comments. I knew from the shape of the pasta(pappardelle) that it was unlikely to be gluten free, and when I asked the waiter about it he said there is no pasta for me. Could he have looked any more hostile? Could he have shouted his response any louder?
There are plenty of restaurants in Rome that will happily accommodate your dietary needs, and many amazing all gf spots as well.
