One of the best restaurants of Genoa (not only my opinion but I also heard it from my Genoese friends) with 160 years history in a remote, nice and calm district of San Desiderio. Great food an nice atmosphere. A great example of an Italian family run restaurant with friendly owners and staff.

It is a 30 minute taxi ride from central Genova but worth every kilometer.  EXCELLENT food,  warm atmosphere, FRIENDLY service and an AMAZING wine list if you look at the full off menu selections.  If you live nearby you are lucky.  If you are a tourist take the taxi ride (25 euro one way from the old town).  Real food. Real people

Words aren't enough to describe this place.. Mix between ligurian and piemontese food, products are served in an availability basis. All fresh and super well-cooked. You could go there everyday for half an year and you'd still have new wines to try after those 6 months. Totally recommended!! Expect 35-50 euros per person
