Fairytale setting. We enjoyed a 4 course / 5**** meal.
The chefs and lovely Carola welcomed us warmly and advised us as to what was best suited to our dietary needs. The sampler prior to appetizer was amazing . The pomme de terre in a tomato sauce was mouthwatering and accompanied by the house made truffle bread defies words. The Uovo in cocotte was exceptional. The taste cannot be described as anything less than a creamy white full bodied blanket of flavor and consistency. The NY Times riso- super! The ravioli- so different with many abundant flavors!
And the chocolate  tartufo dessert with warm fondue sauce- another blast for the senses!
An evening noteworthy of praise for this exquisite establishment nestled deep up in the hills of Ranzo.
PPS: Michelin rated year after year and very deservedly so!

Excellent experience! A relatively small menu with wonderful dishes and vegetarian options. A warm and superfriendly service that makes you feel home. Absolutely worth a visit.

I don't know about the food, but we reserved a table on their website and received the confirmation. When we arrived (30 min one way) it turned out that there was a wedding, and the whole restaurant was closed and their program wasn't working. So I can’t comment on the food, but the customer service was simply awful.

This is a lie about closed booking! When we arrived you told us that the program simply had not been working for you for four days. If the booking was closed by you in advance, how could we have received confirmation from the booking system??

A lovely place between Pieve di Teco and Albenga. The food is amazing 👏 😋 it has  one Michelin 🌟. The restaurant also has a little shop with wines and local delicacies.

The restaurant comes highly recommended! The lovingly designed interior and the wonderful atmosphere create an inviting impression from the moment you step in. The service staff is attentive, hospitable, and genuinely warm. The selection of wines and dishes is exceptional, reaching a level of excellence. For me, the truffle risotto was a particularly remarkable highlight. The dining experience was truly memorable and highly recommended for all food enthusiasts.
