Fantastic dinner.  First of all, I want to compliment the sommelier.  The non-alcoholic cocktails were cosmic.  And their presentation could surprise anyone.  Amazing.  The food reflected Italy and we were impressed.  We have been to many Michelin restaurants, but this visit was a very pleasant surprise

The restaurant menu consists of 2 different sets - they differ by number of servings (12 vs 8) and there are no same dishes. We’ve chosen “Intensity” set and it was perfect! But you should be hungry, because this set is very nutritious. Interesting combination of ingredients, tasty dishes, pleasant view of every meal.
There are couple of cocktails (unusual and cool), some wine by glass and big wine card (by bottles) in the restaurant. The sommelier helped us with the choice.
Overall, I want to highlight high level of service and very nice staff.
We were really glad to spend the evening in Anima.

Fine dining restaurant with typical for Michelin star experience. We ordered 8 pieces tasting menu with wine pairing. The staff was great and atmosphere was very nice. I believe there are only 8 tables; thus, reservation is must. Wine pairing was very good (with some refills when needed), but not something special. It would also be great to have some special drinks to pair each dish rather than one type of wine for a few. 4 stars rather than 5 because expectations were higher. This is not the first Michelin restaurant with tasting menus, which we experienced and the wow factor was missing...

Very happy with the service and food at Anima. Staff were very attentive to our needs. We had the intensity tasting menu. Very glad to have tried the dishes offered. Great flavors and wine pairings. The kitchen was kind enough to be fleixble with the menus. Highly recommend if in Milan.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Anima - friendly and attentive service, and an ‚intense‘ culinary experience as the name of the Intensity menu suggests. Every course was excellently crafted and beautifully plated.  It’s difficult to pick a favorite dish, frankly. The mussels with risotto were unlike anything I have had before, filled and melted in your mouth with a rich marine flavor. While reading reviews, was rather surprised to see a negative reflection of the turbot dish which my partner and I found heavenly - certainly not ‚unbalanced’. The turbot broth vanilla sauce combined ingredients one might not expect to complement eachother but they absolutely do. The filet as well, with the green herby sauce which conjured up images of a ‚cow on the field’. Also to mention the carrot cream and olive oil which was served with the house made sourdough - the combination is something I would wish to eat everyday. For anyone looking for a culinary adventure, Anima is there for the ride.
