Amazing Basilica in Milan. This is one of the oldest churches in Milan. It was originally built in Roman times (consecrated in 402)  and has been rebuilt since then. It was massive inside with beautiful decoration and statues. It is free to enter and tour around. We really enjoyed our visit and this is a must see when in Milan.

Probably built at the beginning of the 6th century, from the outside may seem small, but feels like it doubles in size from the inside. The octagonal dome is impressive, but it was not part of the original construction. You can see a decently preserved last supper fresco, from early christian times and other interesting features. The entrance is free, and there is a beautiful small square in front of the basilica. One of the photos contains more detailed information.
