AVOID this place.  Highly overrated and not worth the hype.  Unnecessary expensive for mediocre food.  Some standouts- the white truffle pasta and the corn appetizer but still not worth the money.  Further,  they made it appear we ordered a prix fixe menu for €200/p. When the bill arrived,  it was over €1000! When I asked,  they said they recommended the courses but those were not on the prix fixe. A total con job... there are much better places for much less money.  If I have to spend €1000, I'd much rather done at L'Osteria Francesca by Massimo Bottura...

Located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping center, a fine dining restaurant  serving Milanese dishes by the famed chef Cracco.

Started with the Russian Salad, crystallized sugar is crispy and sweet on the outside, while salty and creamy in the inside.  An inspiring and refreshing opening to the meal.

The red egg and veals are also delicious.  The pork while crispy, is slightly overcooked.

The wine list is impressive, a thick book with thousands of choices.  With a helpful sommelier, picking a good bottle was quite easy.

Pricing is on the premium end, even for fine dining. Friendly professional services.  Chef Cracco came by each tables, conversing with guests which made the experience more personal and memorable.

cracco was a bit of a mixed experience and slightly underwhelming. with its 1 michelin star, my family had high expectations, so we were excited to try it out.

we visited for lunch, but unfortunately, the course tasting menu wasn’t available. instead, we were given a very limited one-page menu. for vegetarians, the options were especially scarce, with the tomato pasta being the only real recommendation. thankfully, it was delicious, though the portion size was quite small…we ended up ordering two to feel satisfied.

the staff were friendly and approachable, but the service was noticeably slow. we had to wait a long time for both the food and the bill, which dampened the experience a bit.

the ambience was fairly average, not what you’d expect from a michelin-starred establishment. however, its location in the stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a definite highlight, offering a convenient spot in the city center.

if you’re looking for a mid-range fine dining option in a pinch, cracco might be worth considering. but if you have the time, i’d recommend exploring other places that offer better food at a more reasonable price.

Great place in the middle of Vittorini Emanuele Galleria.  Stop by for coffee and delicious pastries.  Just look price before ordering if you are in a budget. Two coffee one small pastry and one croissant over $30 euros. Overall worth it and recommended.
