I was very excited to visit Nobu Milan, as I’m a big fan of the brand and have had amazing experiences at Nobu London and Nobu Chicago. Unfortunately, this location, inside the Armani Hotel, didn’t live up to the same standard.

The sushi we ordered was good but far from exceptional—just average, something you could find at many other sushi restaurants. If this were a local spot, I might have given it 4 stars, but for a Nobu restaurant, my expectations were much higher.

The service was polite and attentive, and they were clearly trying, but there was no explanation of the dishes as they arrived—except for the dessert, which was the only time a waiter described what was being served.

The highlight of the meal was the black miso cod, a Nobu classic, which was as amazing as always. However, at over €250 for two people (without alcohol, before tip), I expected more.

Overall, a disappointing experience compared to other Nobu locations. 3/5 stars.

I’d still recommend Nobu in London and Chicago. In Milan I’ll stick with Italian food.

It isn’t often that I write a review the same night of the dinner. But after doubting (twice, so sorry to the staff for the double table move) whether to go with the 30th anniversary Omakase, or sitting at the bar, I am happy to have sat at the bar upstairs. Cedric and team have delivered a night that can only be described as the cherry on the cake.

An Omakase as it should be, full control to the chef. Every dish, every piece of fish, as lovely as the next. I urge everybody to eat at the bar upstairs. The staff is as amazing as the food.

I highly recommend eating here. It is definitely worth the price and the experience.

Nobu Milano exceeded all my expectations! The sushi was incredibly fresh, each bite practically melted in my mouth. Every dish was bursting with flavor, but the standout for me was the wagyu tacos—rich, tender, and absolutely unforgettable. The miso-glazed black cod was also soo delicious! A must try! The combination of textures and bold flavors was spot on. The ambiance and service were top-notch, making the entire dining experience truly exceptional. Can't wait to return!
