Excellent service and top quality food. Seafood can't be beaten. We had sardine as appetizer, calamari and prawn spaghetti as primo, pesce do giorno (Catch of today)(sea bass) as secondo and pistachio panna cotta as dessert. All are very delicious! White wine is good too. Highly recommended!

The staff do not want to speak any language other than Italian.  They pretend they don't understand English; Mr.

There is nothing to complain about after all, this asterisk means driving which is fabulous.

Fresh fish, delicately prepared with a good menu selection - not too many dishes with a focus on authentic Ancona cuisine. Unfortunately I felt we were ‘over-serviced’ with too many wait staff appearing to take finished dishes, continuously. I prefer to do ‘scarpetta’ when I like a dish but I had to request that the plate with delicious extra virgin olive oil and fish juices be left so we could enjoy every mouthful.

Pointing to service etiquette, which might be out dated but it’s still my preference, is that all clients’ plates are cleared when everyone has finished their meal. As soon as my husband finished his, his plate was whisked away. This left me feeling that I should hurry.

This kind of ‘over service’ kind of ruins an otherwise possibly pleasant atmosphere. It’s not the first time we’ve been here although we had forgotten about this approach.

If you like fresh fish prepared and cooked beautifully but don’t mind constant bustling of plates, then you’ll enjoy this place.

If you like to take your time, you might prefer to either state your case when you first sit down or choose a more relaxed restaurant.

It’s a shame as I see the wait-staff want to offer great service but they seem pressured by the head of staff.
