Our stay at Il Salviatino was fantastic. The room and villa grounds were stunning, the restaurant was delicious, and the spa provided the rest and relaxation needed for our honeymoon. I also accidentally left behind one of my belongings and the staff went above and beyond to get it back to me before I left the Florence area, which was much appreciated. Would recommend to anyone looking for a bit of luxury just outside of Florence.

This hotel is definitely the top choice out of all the hotels we have stayed in throughout Europe, and in the Florence area, to be exact. We love this property. It is very majestic and definitely gives you the vibe that you are the lord and lady of this little castle. The staff is extremely helpful, attentive, and very friendly. Our Duomo view suite was just perfect, with big windows looking straight out to the garden below and the Duomo dome. We also enjoyed the spa here; it is very well-kept and very clean. The breakfast included with our stay was also well-prepared and well-cooked. One of my favorite features of this property is the library, where we can just relax with a cup of coffee and really enjoy the freshly cut flowers on the tables around us. From now on, we will stay here whenever we visit Florence.

My friends and I had the best time at this hotel! The whole staff was so kind and welcoming and Paul, Luigi, and Francesca went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location is just outside the city center of Florence and they have a free shuttle that can take you into the city. It’s nice to be in an area where it’s quiet with views overlooking Florence. I loved the pool area and the outdoor bar, it was great to swim especially in the heat and the spa was absolutely amazing. I spent a whole day in the spa solely for its amenities. Also, the buffet breakfast was a nice touch and all the food we ate was so fresh and incredible. A lot of their food is picked from their garden. The price is also right for being a 5 star hotel. Traveling to different cities in Europe can be super busy and overwhelming at times, but staying at this hotel just outside of the city truly felt like a vacation. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, and I can’t wait to come back here someday!

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every moment there.
The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable.
The palace is absolutely magnificent and every room has a soul.
The gardens are perfectly maintained and the swimming pool charming.

I want to start this with I am NOT an AI generated review nor did I use a chat bot to help write this, so please forgive the lack of eloquence in my words.   I can not express my love of this place enough.  It is truly one of the most beautiful and unique places I have ever been.  We had the pleasure of staying here for the last two night of our 3 week trip and it was not planned.  I am a landscape architect and designer so the aesthetics of any place are the most important thing to me.  This place blew me away.  (there is that non eloquent wording).  I have only been this inspired when I first arrived in San Miguel Mexico.  The gardens, the gardens, the gardens!  The view.  The details, like the pattern that was hand drawn on the plates that were also used in fabric on the furniture.  The Greenhouse room!  (yes, I am now remodeling my own office and greenhouse).  The fact that while you are at the pool you can slightly hear the music that is not loud enough to interrupt the calm and beauty, but just enough to add that special something.  (I swear it was the soundtrack to the Young Pope which could have been all in my head).  The Food!  The FOOD!!!!  I am no food critic, but I never want food anywhere else in my entire life! (Which will make doing that remodel hard.)  Most of all the people.  ALL of the people were amazing, warm, generous with their time, proud of this beautiful place and everything you could ask for.  Andrea met us at the front door and was the most gracious.  Luigi served us dinner and both told us about the property.  If you were to ask me who owned and remodeled this place I would have guessed it was one of them.  That is how much pride they took in telling me all about the property and showing us around.  I know that Luigi loves a very specific light fixture and that Andrea has a very favorite room.  (I will let you ask them).  Make sure and ask to see the bird bathroom.  This place is a never to be missed venue.  I would love to come back one day.  It took all my strength just to leave.  I would die happy there tending to the gardens.
