What a fantastic gem of a restaurant in the countryside outside Asti in Langhe region . It was worth the drive just to eat there. The ambiance was so old school with the history from 1912 .

The people were friendly with outstanding service and most of all the food was just delicious . Especially the Angnolotti and pasta e fagioli ( pasta bean and vegetable broth )

The stay and the food were a highlight. The kitchen serves excellent dishes that are geared towards regional and seasonal conditions. The service was attentive and very friendly. Since my last visit the wine list changed drastically, as the entire huge stock of fantastic and ripe Piemontese wine was sold to a merchant 😥 It remains though just great to enjoy food here and hang out with friends in a place like this.

Typical local selection of food, they even had the menu in English. The food was vegetarian friendly and we did have quite a bit of options to play around rather than the usuals. Quite simple interiors but maintained clean.
Ms Rossana (Roxy) served us and she was quite knowledgeable. It’s a shame that they have only two options of wine if we opt for a single glass, just would be better if they widen that area. The condiments were massive, we enjoyed the amaretti cookies and the focaccia.
The pasta was handmade and tasted delectable. The desserts were unique and we opted for the 3 choice which couldn’t be faulted. Overall a really memorable experience and worthy of the Michelin star grade.

This has been a stop for me for more than 20 years when visiting this region in Italy.    over the years the food has evolved but remains consistently outstanding.    We actually plan our trips so we can visit.   Service is as good as the food.   Lunch is populated by locals who seem to be regulars.   Whether a local or not you are treated well

already looking forward to the next visit.

What a great place to eat. We ordered off the a la carte menu and what was provided was tasty. The coperto is higher than normal at 3e, however this comes with a few selections of bread and also salami.

Some other comments mentioned sizing, but we didn't find that to be an issue.
