Nice place with good drinks, especially during the pub crawl. However, I noticed that when I ordered my last drink here on tuesday evening, they took my card  from my hand to fulfil the payment themselves in the back end of the bar. I found this suspicious so I checked the paper receipt to see if this was done correctly, and so it seemed. Now a few days afterwards I checked my banking app only to see that there was a second payment fulfilled at the exact same time. 10 euros were charged without any explanation. It was at the beginning of the pub crawl so I was sober and very much aware of what I did and did not order. Also the toilet is just a hole in the floor that you can't sit on..

Tasty food and cocktail! 10€ for small mixed plate and 6€ for a cocktail. The clerks there are very friendly and helpful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about spending time at Alter Ego.  The interior is intimate and feels mature while allowing for fun.  Outdoor seating is also available. Watching the mixologist create the drinks was fascinating: he is well trained, passionate and cares about his craft.  The process seemed an art form and the drinks a work of art.  They even grow herbs, spices and seasonings on the premises: each one is then prepared in in the manner needed and paired with the liquors to enhance the flavors and aromas of the cocktail. Good quality cheap cocktails (nothing really fancy) and good apetizers.
The staff was really kind and understood well in english.

Nice place and good cocktails. Prices are low: cocktail 6 euros, tennent's 4 euros. Located in San Salvario. A bit cosy
