A wonderful boutique mini-resort, they only have 10 rooms on beautiful grounds with olive trees, garden, 2 pools and more. More importantly, the hospitality was warm, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent as well (Mick Jagger ate there once!) Again, the friendly service was as good as the food. Alessandro practically ran the place by himself as sommelier and waiter and guided us towards delicious wine and food. Our favorite stay in Sicily, it is close to Syracuse and the small historic towns of Southern Sicily. Could have stayed longer. Grazie!

Unbelievable!
We spent a few days with our family at Donna Coraly Resort and I can guarantee that I'll remember it for the rest of my life! Everything was literally perfect.
The welcome from the team and the butler to start our stay, the sumptuous area, the fresh produces at breakfast. All the staff were adorable and attentive and the resort restaurant is breathtaking.
You have to go there !

We stayed at Donna Coraly hotel in September with my parents and our one year old baby.

While the rooms were clean, large and a comfortable bed, we were let down on the service.

On our second day of staying at the hotel there was a large party (engagement party we think) on the public grounds. At a large hotel this would have been accepted however due to the boutique size of the hotel it felt very invasive and loud. We had people walking through our private sitting area, smoking, drinking etc right where our seating area was. They then continued on with a big party, loud music at the second pool area (which is supposedly for hotel guests) into the night. There was no notice of this to the hotel guests and felt really rude to us paying guests. It was like a night club and we could hear the pumping music from our hotel rooms.

The next day there was another private event (!!!) a children's birthday party with almost 70 guests (right next to our hotel rooms once again). There was a DJ, pool party and party guests everywhere. We asked reception if they could turn the music down to which they said no. It all felt super odd while staying in a supposedly premium hotel- no staff were around as they were all working at the private functions.

Along with this- there is a beautiful restaurant, however be aware that the restaurant is fine dining. So one evening was nice, however we didn't want to eat fine dining every night and that is the only option for food. There is not a relaxed bar/dining area where you can grab a low key bite to eat. We went out for takeaway pizza one night and brought it back to our sitting area as the hotel didn't offer pizzas/pastas etc to your rooms (only sandwiches and other basic room service options).

All in all, it was the big parties they were hosting on the boutique hotel grounds that really tarnished our experience for us. It didn't feel premium. There was no apology from the hotel staff and it resulted in a disappointing experience.

Well.....wow. One of the most beautiful, stunning, relaxing hotels we've stayed at anywhere in the world.

As described in other reviews, the hotel is in fact a series of buildings in an old, traditional, family estate. The rooms are superb...exquisitely furnished, lovely bathrooms, super comfy beds. You have your own terrace space which is perfect for relaxing with a pre-dinner drink.

The gardens are a delight, with 2 gorgeous pools and plenty of loungers.

And the restaurant is truly wonderful. The food is michelin star standard from start to finish (I'll be stunned if it doesn't have a star soon), and the staff are superb.....friendly, professional, all experts in the art of helping you enjoy your meal and making you feel like a valued guest.

We ate there 5 nights in a row and we could go back today and eat there for another month.....it was so good !

Lucia was the perfect host, and she has put together a truly amazing destination. Grazie mile !

We spent a wonderful few nights at Donna Coraly's in late August. We have traveled to many exotic destinations and stayed in many world class hotels, but staying at Donna's was probably the best hotel and dining experience yet. The stylish boutique suites, the beautiful flowering garden, the garden spa and the rural setting all literally enchanted us. The service and personal touch from not only the staff, but the care from the owner herself was also fantastic. I wanted to write this review several months ago, but even after all this time I can say that I still feel the harmony, tranquility and genius loci of the place, which I hope to visit again sometime in the future. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience "something more than just a hotel". Donna Coraly Resort is a balm for the soul. Many warm greetings from the Czech Republic.
