We stayed at hotel Signum on our honeymoon. The staff were lovely and the setting is beautiful. It is easy access to the beach and hiring a scooter for the day was very fun and affordable. However, there were a few things that were below our expectations for the price that you pay for your stay. The transfer to and from the port is not included and is expensive. Other places we stayed on the Aeolian islands included that in the price of the room. The food from the Bistrot was quite bland. Breakfast was also quite limited compared to other places we stayed in Sicily and on our last day they packed us breakfast as we departed at 7.45am for our ferry - the breakfast consisted of just two small muffins and some juices. We expected more, especially as breakfast is not included in the price of the room and is expensive. Spa access is also not included in the room price even though it is just a few warm pools. In summary, we had a pleasant stay but compared to other hotels on the islands, value for money was very much lacking.

Very relaxing spot with beautiful views. Very nice service but the perfume or air freshener is very aggressive and had to vent the room. Luckily, the fan is aggressive, as well.

Absolutely stunning setting, but oh so disappointing!  We ate in the Bistro. The service was so slow. The food was just ok, the cocktails were great, but sooo slow. The general feeling amongst our party of 4 was that the experience was underwhelming. Won’t go back, so many better places to eat on the island.

The grounds were beautiful and spa options were excellent. Unfortunately, the massage therapist clearly didn't have a clue what she was doing and untrained.
